Today’s post is the last post in my content marketing metrics series. Today’s post focuses on production metrics.

Time to Publish

Time to publish measures how long it takes you to create a product. You can use some sort of time tracker, whether it’s manual or automatic. You can divide it up by day, month or project section.

Production Cost Per Piece

Using a time tracker again, you can track how much something costs you to produce. You can calculate these using the costs for anything you purchase for the piece or hire out for the piece as well as the rate you’re worth/the rate you charge clients times the number of hours it took you to create. You can use this to determine how much you should charge for a piece.
